Info for Musicians

We organise our Live Blues Nights as an open-mic format, available to performers of all abilities on a first-come, first served basis by booking their time on the run sheet which is linked on the banner at the top of this site.

There are (generally) 6 x 20-minute performance slots, with a 10-minute bump time between them.

We aim to begin at 7:00 pm and the last slot to finish by 10:00 pm.

These times may vary depending on how full the run sheet is. Or isn't.

After then, the jam sessions begin, which are open to anyone who wants to participate.

For many, this is the highlight of the evening, as everyone has a lot of fun.

The club supplies a basic drum kit, but if you require extra pieces, bring those along.

BYO sticks please.

The club now has its own drum kit!

Thanks to Paul Fenton for finding this at a good price, and polishing it up for us.

MIC'S

At least one microphone and stand is available, possibly more with prior arrangement. You may prefer to bring your own mic and stand along.

GUITARS

Paul T-S has indicated that he is willing to make his guitars available for use if you are stuck, but please ask first.

The Club welcomes the donation of any instruments you no longer want to hold on to.

PA SYSTEM

We have now acquired our own PA system, so it's up to you if you want to still bring your own.

If you have any questions about instruments or equipment, contact our Chief Tech Guy, Paul Tudor-Stack, on 0490 083 070 or via email.
